Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints around the world gathered in their homes for the 190th Semiannual General Conference Oct. 3-4.
Following the format of April 2020 general conference, this digital-only general conference was broadcast from a small auditorium on Temple Square and closed to the public.
Despite the commotion in the world, the Lord wants His children to look forward with joyful anticipation, President Russell M. Nelson said at the close of the conference.
“Let us not spin our wheels in the memories of yesterday. The gathering of Israel moves forward. The Lord Jesus Christ directs the affairs of His Church, and it will achieve its divine objectives.”
To truly embrace a new normal, he said, “I invite you to turn your heart, mind and soul increasingly to our Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ.”
