Video: Upcoming gathering to celebrate the ‘beautiful, powerful, ultimate’ purpose of Relief Society

In the Church News video titled ‘Love to Gather,’ the Relief Society general presidency shares excitement for upcoming Relief Society anniversary event

A worldwide Relief Society devotional will be held Sunday, March 17, 2024, to commemorate the purpose and founding of the Relief Society, which took place March 17, 1842.

”We are so excited by this opportunity and we are thrilled that President [Russell M.] Nelson would give a message directly to the sisters,” said President Camille N. Johnson, Relief Society general president.

This Church News video, titled “Love to Gather,” features President Johnson and her counselors in the Relief Society general presidency, Sister J. Anette Dennis and Sister Kristin M. Yee.

The women share their excitement for the Relief Society devotional, which will be followed by testimony meetings held in local units across the globe.

”Each time I have the opportunity to declare my witness that Jesus Christ lives, my own testimony is strengthened,” President Johnson said.
