At his request, J. Spencer Kinard, commentator for the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's "Music and the Spoken Word" since February 1972, has been released from his assignment with the Tabernacle Choir, the First Presidency announced Nov. 1.
The duties that he has handled as commentator will be taken care of by others who in the past have served as substitutes.
