The following new mission presidents and companions have been called to serve by the First Presidency. They will begin their service in July.
Roderick Boss, 65, and Lori Boss, seven children, Barrigada Ward, Barrigada Guam Stake: Japan Fukuoka Mission, succeeding President Shinjiro Hara and Sister Mayumi Hara. Brother Boss is a bishop and temple ordinance worker and former mission presidency counselor, stake Young Men president, bishopric counselor, Scoutmaster and missionary in the Japan Fukuoka Mission. He was born in Provo, Utah, to Karl Christian Boss and Amy Boss.
Sister Boss is a seminary teacher and temple ordinance worker and former ward Relief Society president, ward Young Women president, ward Primary president and Primary teacher. She was born in Cottage Grove, Oregon, to Murrel Kent Olsen and Leora Louise Melton.
Dave Brueck, 48, and Jennie Brueck, four children, Hobble Creek 6th Ward, Springville Utah Hobble Creek West Stake: Dominican Republic Santiago Mission, succeeding President Marcos Bretón and Sister Janet Bretón. Brother Brueck is a former missionary in the Chile Santiago South Mission. He was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, to Philip Robert Brueck and Linda Mae Brueck.
Sister Brueck is a former volunteer in the Provo Missionary Training Center. She was born in Portland, Oregon, to David Lester Funk and Jean Ruth Funk.
Kerry D. Calaway, 55, and Bonnie H. Calaway, four children, Snake River Ward, Pasco Washington Stake: Nebraska Omaha Mission, succeeding President Tom F. Bailey and Sister Michelle Bailey. Brother Calaway is a stake presidency counselor and former high councilor, stake Young Men president, bishop, bishopric counselor, ward Young Men president, ward mission leader and missionary in the North Carolina Raleigh Mission. He was born in Pasco, Washington, to Val Richard Calaway and Jane Beverly Calaway.
Sister Calaway is a Sunday School teacher and former stake Young Women presidency counselor, ward Young Women president, ward Young Women presidency counselor, ward Primary presidency counselor and Primary music leader. She was born in Richland, Washington, to Paul Hatch and Cynthia Carol Hatch.
Ronald L. Craven, 65, and Rebecca L. Craven, five children, Park Ward, Centerville Utah North Stake: Utah Salt Lake City Headquarters Mission, succeeding President Douglas D. Holmes and Sister Erin T. Holmes. Brother and Sister Craven previously served as a mission president and companion in the North Carolina Charlotte Mission. Brother Craven is a ward temple and family history leader and former stake presidency counselor, high councilor, stake clerk, stake executive secretary, institute teacher and missionary in the England London South Mission. He was born in Provo, Utah, to Rulon Gerald Craven and Donna Lee Craven.
Sister Craven is a ward temple and family history consultant and former Young Women general presidency counselor, ward Relief Society president and ward Young Women president. She was born in Chardon, Ohio, to Corless Walter Mitchell and Linda Louise Mitchell.
Prince Ebere, 62, and Happiness Ebere, five children, Isiala Okpu 1st Ward, Aba Nigeria North Stake: Nigeria Port Harcourt North Mission. Brother Ebere is an elders quorum president and former stake president, district president, branch president, bishopric counselor, ward executive secretary, Sunday School teacher and temple ordinance worker. He was born in Amapu, Isiala Ngwa North, Abia Nigeria, to Obadiah Onyndimlazu Ebere and Julia Nnalu Atasie.
