The following new mission presidents and companions have been called to serve by the First Presidency. They will begin their service in July.
Ben Ball, 57, and Angie Ball, five children, Palo Alto Baylands Ward, Menlo Park California Stake: Vanuatu Port Vila Mission, succeeding President Mark J. Messick and Sister Jean W. Messick. Brother and Sister Ball are Church service missionaries with Brigham Young University–Pathway Worldwide. Brother Ball is a YSA bishop and former high councilor, stake Young Men president, Young Men adviser and missionary in the France Paris Mission. He was born in San Francisco, California, to Jay Tracy Ball and Martha Jane Hales Ball.
Sister Ball is a ward YSA adviser and former ward Primary president, ward Young Women presidency counselor, Gospel Principles teacher and family relations teacher. She was born at Travis Air Force Base, California, to Fred Kohler Christensen and Anne Marie Driggs Christensen.
Aaron Blackwelder, 45, and Genevieve Blackwelder, six children, Waco 1st Ward, Waco Texas Stake: Portugal Lisbon Mission, succeeding President Ronald Barcellos and Sister Karin Barcellos. Brother Blackwelder is a former stake presidency counselor, high councilor, bishop, elders quorum president, temple ordinance worker and missionary in the Guatemala Quetzaltenango Mission. He was born in New Haven, Connecticut, to Julius Conrad Blackwelder and Debra Elaine Anderson.
Sister Blackwelder is a ward missionary and former ward Primary president, ward Relief Society presidency counselor, ward Primary secretary, Sunday School teacher and temple ordinance worker. She was born in São Paulo, Brazil, to Melvin Winoto Tedjamulia and Lourdes Carmen Jimenez Gossler Tedjamulia.
Jamie Davidson, 54, and Judy Davidson, five children, Hunter’s Grove Ward, Lehi Utah Meadow View Stake: Denmark Copenhagen Mission, succeeding President Leif G. Mattsson and Sister Eva Ringheim Mattsson. Brother Davidson is a Young Men adviser and former stake president, high councilor, stake missionary preparation teacher, bishop, bishopric counselor, elders quorum president, ward Young Men president, ward Young Men presidency counselor, Gospel Doctrine teacher, Sunday School teacher and missionary in the Denmark Copenhagen Mission. He was born in Pointe Claire, Quebec, Canada, to James Reginald Davidson and Susanne Annelise Ruth Busing Davidson.
Sister Davidson is a stake auditor and ward Primary presidency counselor and a former stake missionary preparation teacher, ward Relief Society president, ward Primary president, ward Relief Society presidency counselor, Young Women adviser, Gospel Doctrine teacher, Sunday School teacher, Primary teacher, nursery leader, Relief Society teacher and missionary in the Denmark Copenhagen Mission. She was born in Fullerton, California, to Keith Charles Bradshaw and Dorothy Ann Bradshaw.
Kenneth J. Firmage, 57, and Sonja D. Firmage, four children, Legacy Ward, Star Idaho Stake: Mozambique Beira Mission, succeeding President Nilson J. Moraes and Sister Keila Moraes. Brother Firmage is an elders quorum service coordinator and temple ordinance worker and a former Area Seventy, stake president, bishop, bishopric counselor, ward Young Men president, ward mission leader and missionary in the Brazil São Paulo South Mission. He was born in Provo, Utah, to David Harvey Firmage and Alexandra Avati Firmage.
Sister Firmage is a temple ordinance worker and a former ward temple and family history consultant, Primary teacher, Relief Society teacher and Young Women adviser. She was born in Fallon, Nevada, to William Jay Wright and Marjorie Anne Wright.
Curtis Johnson, 64, and Tammy Johnson, six children, Meadow Wood Ward, Provo Utah Edgemont Stake: Montana Missoula Mission. Brother Johnson is an elders quorum presidency counselor and institute teacher and a former stake presidency counselor, high councilor, bishop, elders quorum teacher and missionary in the China Hong Kong Mission. He was born in Virginia, Minnesota, to Carl Deardon Johnson and Helen Bradley Johnson.

She was born in Los Angeles, California, to Carl William Bacon and Betty Carolyn Bacon.
Steven R. Lindsley, 62, and Sabrina S. Lindsley, six children, Mountainville 3rd Ward, Alpine Utah Stake: South Carolina Charleston Mission. Brother Lindsley is a Sunday School teacher and a former stake presidency counselor, high councilor, bishop, bishopric counselor, elders quorum teacher, ward Young Men president, Young Men adviser and missionary in the California Anaheim Mission.
