The First Presidency has announced dates for the open house, cultural celebration and dedication of the Calgary Alberta Temple.
The public open house will be held Saturday, Sept. 29, through Saturday, Oct. 20, with the exceptions of Sunday, Sept. 30; Saturday, Oct. 6 (general conference); Sunday, Oct. 7; and Sunday, Oct. 14, when the open house will not be held.
A cultural celebration will take place on Saturday, Oct. 27, followed by the dedication of the temple on Sunday, Oct. 28. The dedication, held in three sessions, will be broadcast to all of the stakes and districts in the temple district, as well as to members in the Edmonton Alberta and Cardston Alberta temple districts. Sunday block meetings will be cancelled for these units.
The temple will open for ordinances on Monday, Oct. 29, by invitation and on Tuesday, Oct. 30, for all patrons.
